Tibor Kalman 1949-1999

That saying was certainly not lost on Tibor Kalman (1949-1999), an American designer born in Hungary who was best known for his design firm M&Co., and as the editor-in-chief of Bennetton’s COLORS Magazine. Tibor was not with the design world very long; he died at the age of 49. However his work and ideas left an indelible mark on the design community and beyond, as a defining member of the growing number of designers who felt that “message matters”.
